A Word from the BYHC / Mot du Backyard Hockey Clan,

Backyard Hockey Foundation was started in Montreal, Quebec on February 16th 2006,  but it truly began on 34 Lincoln Crescent 20 years earlier. We grew up in a small town in Northern Ontario and had the luxury of playing on a full size rink that our father built in the backyard. Day and night, winter after winter that rink logged more miles than the Olympic Oval.
